The Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture is a torture treatment agency in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  Their services include mental health counseling, youth programs, public training, settlement services, and educational training in computer and language learning.  They have a comprehensive Web site with access to readings and resources about the effects of torture and working with torture survivors.

Réseau D’intervention Auprès des Personnes Ayant Subi La Violence Organisée (Intervention Network for Persons Having Been Subjected to Organized Violence) is a torture treatment center in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.  They offer psychosocial and psychotherapeutic interventions, medical care, and other therapeutic interventions to survivors of organized violence living in the Quebec area and across Canada. Torture treatment services were established in 1990.

The Vancouver Association for Survivors of Torture is a torture treatment agency in Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada.  Their multidisciplinary staff offers mental health, legal, and social services, along with body works and access to the Vancouver Hospital Health Sciences Center Cross Cultural Psychiatry program.

Victoria Coalition for Survivors of Torture

The Victoria Coalition for Survivors of Torture is a coalition of agencies and individuals in Victoria, British Colombia, Canada, that seeks to assist those who have been affected by torture. Through their network of providers, they offer counseling, educational, and health services to torture survivors.  They also coordinate annual training events for professionals working with torture and war traumatized individuals and families.
