Relevant Services:       Owns and administers Section 8 rent assistance program and low income public housing in the city of Minneapolis.
 
Eligibility:       - Highrise: Income based housing. Preference is given to those who pay 50% or more of their income for rent, are displaced or are living in substandard housing, including the homeless and victims of domestic abuse. - Family: Low-income based housing - Section 8 Rent Assistance Program: Elderly, handicapped, disabled individuals, or individuals displaced by public action (other single individuals not eligible), or a family of two or more persons. - Couples: Non-elderly, childless couples are eligible to live in high rise apartment and one bedroom family units.
 
Fees:       The amount of rent paid (including utilities) is approximately 30% of net income or a minimum of $25/month
 
Hours:       8 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday
