Offers longer term transitional housing in the Columbia Heights area. The shared housing is for single women or women with children. Women must be homeless or about to be homeless, must be working on their goals and be able to live peacefully with others in a shared space.

Eligibility:

Serve primarily Northeast and North Minneapolis, Northern Hennepin, Northern Ramsey suburbs and Anoka County residents who are homeless, in the process of eviction, living in substandard or abusive conditions are eligible.
ONLY Hennepin County residents are eligible for rent assistance and prevention program.

Based on available resources; residents in transitional houses pay $150 - $450/month rent and provide their own food; deposit same as rent

Call for appointment (no walk-ins); meet with staff and other residents; design individualized contract with staff.
