CVT Jordan has provided care to Iraqi refugees in Jordan since 2008 and is serving a growing number of Syrian survivors of torture and war. Adrienne, a psychotherapist and trainer who leaders CVT’s mobile unit in Jordan, will describe what she and CVT clinicians are hearing from Syrian refugees who experienced tremendous suffering as a result of torture and the war in Syria.
