Building Healing Resources for Torture Survivors StatewidePeople who survive torture are unlikely to talk about their experiences. Yet the trauma they suffered may affect their health, education, work performance and family life. CVT offers training programs for professionals who work with survivors of torture and war trauma, including psychologists, social workers, doctors, nurses, lawyers, interpreters and educators. Programs can be designed or customized for any group. Our training programs include: Introduction to Torture and Its Consequences
Secondary Trauma Target audience: therapists, social workers, interpreters, educators, attorneys and others who work with trauma survivors.
Psychological Effects of Torture and War Trauma
