Policy Counsel

Jeanne Herrick-Stare serves as Policy Counsel for the Center of Victims of Torture. Prior to joining CVT’s Washington D.C. office, she worked for the Friends Committee on National Legislation as Senior Fellow for Civil Liberties and Human Rights.  She was also co-founder of the National Religious Campaign Against Torture. She is an attorney, and prior to her Washington, D.C. advocacy career was part of the professional staff of the federal Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver, most recently as Counsel to the Clerk of Court.
