New Tactics Program Manager

Susan began her connection with New Tactics in 2004 as a volunteer and she continued her involvement over 7 years.  She brings over 30 years of experience in international political development,  leadership skills and a commitment to New Tactic. From 2004-2009 she was an instructor for the Leadership for Global Citizenship class at the Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota.  Previously, she served as the regional director for Eastern European Affairs at the National Democratic Institute, regional director for Eastern Europe for International Foundation for Election Systems, executive director for Liberal International in the UK, deputy director of civic engagement at Business in the Community, and assistant to secretary general for the European Federation of Liberals and Democrats in the European Parliament.  Susan holds an MPA from Harvard University and undergraduate degree from Oxford Brookes University.
