Wendy Marcano

Chief Financial Officer

Wendy brings more than 20 years of accounting and finance experience to CVT  Originally from Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies, she moved to New York City to attend college then stayed to work in the garment, engineering, real estate and finance industries. She relocated to Minneapolis and spent several years with Certes Financial Pros working as an accounting, finance, and operations consultant to several nonprofit and for-profit companies. Prior to joining CVT she was the Vice President of Finance at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities and prior to that she worked as the Operations and Systems Innovation Director at The Bridge for Youth

Wendy volunteers with Minnesota Families Caring for Children with their annual gala and also develops course work and presentations in financial literacy for the nonprofit community. She received her bachelor’s degree in professional studies from Audrey Cohen College and her MBA from the University of Phoenix. Wendy lives in Minneapolis and loves taking road trips around the country.
