Allyson Therien has been the director of human resources at CVT since 2021 and prior to that, was an HR generalist with the organization. The HR team is responsible for implementation and support of strategic objectives involving talent management, employee support, infrastructure, compensation and benefits and legal compliance.

Previously, Allyson spent 11 years working in various HR roles at The Gathering Place, a nonprofit organization in Denver that offers services to individuals and families to combat poverty and address the impacts of marginalization and oppression that are often contributing factors to poverty or homelessness.

Allyson earned a B.A. degree in secondary education from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, and a Master’s of Nonprofit Management degree from Regis University in Denver. She holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI.
