Laurel Lunn, Ph.D.
Research Associate
Laurel Lunn has been providing program evaluation and research support for CVT’s domestic and international capacity building projects since 2016. CVT’s work in this area includes:
- Collaborating with domestic and international partner organizations to develop and/or enhance systems for monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning.
- Training, mentoring, and coaching on topics related to program evaluation and research.
- Generating tools for use in capacity building, including organizational capacity assessments, training tools, and e-Learning materials.
- Cultivating innovative approaches to evaluation for a wide range of programmatic content, service settings, target populations, and intended outcomes.
- Developing approaches to evaluation of capacity building efforts.
Laurel received her PhD in Community Research & Action from Vanderbilt University, where her mixed methods dissertation research focused on the social determinants of health among refugees resettled to the U.S. Prior to CVT, she worked as a research associate at a firm in the Washington D.C. area, contributing to external evaluations for charitable foundations and the U.S. federal government.
