Pete Dross has served as the Center for Victims of Torture’s director of development since 1993 and its director of policy and development since 2007. He and his staff are responsible for all aspects of the organization’s contributed income, external relations and advocacy programs. Dross has deep experience in all aspects of individual and institutional philanthropy; he has also managed successful legislative initiatives on state and federal levels.  In addition to his work at CVT, Dross has served as a board member of the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits and MAP for Nonprofits.  He currently serves on the board of directors, executive committee and as treasurer of the National Consortium of Torture Treatment Programs.
