Raghda Elshafie, MS

Program Evaluation Advisor

 

Raghda Elshafie provides program evaluation and research support for CVT’s direct service programs in Kenya and Uganda. Before joining CVT, Raghda worked at the Ministry of International Cooperation in Egypt where she led the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems for Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects. Through field visits, adaptive data collection approaches, regular outreach with beneficiaries, and innovative technical solutions to measuring outcomes, Raghda provided evidence-based policy recommendations to leaders to improve the allocation of ODA. Additionally, Raghda worked on various short-term assignments with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women initiative, the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), and the USAID-funded Higher Education Partnership Program in Egypt. She graduated with Distinction in Development Economics (MSc) from SOAS, University of London. Raghda speaks English, Arabic, and basic Japanese. She is based in Cairo, Egypt.
