Darlene Lynch
Head of External Relations, CVT Georgia

Darlene C. Lynch is an accomplished lawyer and public policy professional with more than 25 years of experience working on social justice and economic empowerment issues at the state, federal and international levels. She is head of external relations for CVT Georgia, and supports the work of CVT’s mental health clinic in Clarkston and advances policies to support Georgia refugees and immigrants building new lives in the state.  She currently leads advocacy efforts to expand access to education, employment and health care in the state. 

Prior to joining CVT, Darlene led the UN advocacy office for ECPAT International in Geneva, Switzerland and served as a legal advisor on access to justice issues for child victims of trafficking.  She previously served on the faculty of Emory, Harvard and Boston University law schools and began her career as a prosecutor and trial attorney.  She is a volunteer CASA for foster youth, a pro bono attorney for immigrant victims of violence, and a member of Georgia’s Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force. She holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
