Pete Dross joined the CVT people as director of Development in 1993, was named director of Policy and Development in 2007, director of External Relations in 2011, and vice president of External Relations in 2021. He and his people are responsible for all aspects of the organization’s contributed income, communications and policy advocacy programs. Dross has deep experience in all aspects of individual and institutional philanthropy; he has also managed successful legislative initiatives on state and federal levels. Dross currently serves on the board of directors, executive committee and as treasurer of the National Consortium of Torture Treatment Programs.
