Pete Dross joined the CVT staff as director of Development in 1993, was named director of Policy and Development in 2007, director of External Relations in 2011, and vice president of External Relations in 2021, a role in which he and his team were responsible for all aspects of the organization’s contributed income, communications and policy advocacy programs. At the end of 2023, he transitioned into a consultative role as senior advisor for External Relations. Dross has deep experience in all aspects of individual and institutional philanthropy; he has also managed successful legislative initiatives on state and federal levels.
