Sarah Peters joined CVT in 2018. She provides program evaluation oversight for CVT’s direct service programs outside the U.S. and conducts original research related to CVT’s direct service work. Sarah received her Ph.D. in political science from the University of Notre Dame in 2018. Prior to CVT, Sarah was a post-doctoral scholar at the Notre Dame Initiative (now Pulte Institute) for Global Development. She has conducted research and evaluation work in El Salvador, Ethiopia, Jordan, Serbia and Tanzania. Her research focuses on the causes and consequences of human rights violations and the effectiveness of mental health interventions in conflict-affected and humanitarian settings.
