Raise Your Courageous Voice

As we prepare for Courageous Voices—our powerful virtual event on June 26 honoring the UN Day in Support of Victims of Torture—we invite you to be part of the movement. This is your chance to uplift the spirit of solidarity, resilience, and justice that defines our community.

We want to hear from you

Share your own Courageous Voice in response to the prompt:

“I stand with survivors because…”

OR

Feel free to use your own “I” statement that reflects your connection to CVT.

How to share your voice:

Get creative—there’s no one “right” way to express your Courageous Voice. Choose what resonates most with you:

You can submit

  • A brief video (30 seconds)
  • A short written reflection (100 words or less)
  • A photo with a caption
  • A poem or piece of original music
  • A drawing or other artwork
  • Or any creative expression that feels meaningful to you

Some submissions will be featured during the Courageous Voices event on June 26, so be sure to register to see if yours is included! Others may be shared leading up to the event or afterward as part of CVT’s 40th anniversary celebration.

Deadline to submit is June 23rd
