Center for Victims of Torture Dramatically Slashes Workforce After Trump Administration Orders - MPR

Dr. Simon Adams, president and CEO, spoke to Minnesota Public Radio about CVT’s situation with funding freezes, commenting on the recent program closures and furloughs and notes that this means turning away survivors seeking care. He said, “We’re having to turn away torture survivors who are desperate for help, for whom we are a lifeline back to healing and hope.”
