Amanda McAllister Novak is special counsel on the Cyber and Data Privacy team at Kennedys Law, where she focuses her practice on complex and emerging privacy, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity matters. Ms. Novak holds a JD from the University of Minnesota with a specialization in human rights law and international law and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Cybercrime, Cybersecurity & International Law through the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI). Ms. Novak is very involved in her legal community and has participated in international advocacy, conflict research, and educational initiatives as well as contributed to reports and efforts that advance human rights, international humanitarian law, and international criminal law through her work with various human rights organizations. Amanda is also a board member at The Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota, where she has assisted as part of a flight crew with the rehabilitation of injured raptors.
