Debarati Sen
Board Member

Debarati Sen is chief commercial officer for Kingfisher PLC., a London-based home improvement company with 1,900 retail stores across seven countries in Europe. Ms. Sen also serves as an independent director for Nortech Systems and for OneSource Pharma. Prior to this, Ms. Sen served as the CEO and group president of HMTX Industries, responsible for a $1B portfolio of industry-leading flooring brands serving multiple channels including Big Box Home Centers, large retail, distribution and commercial channels.

She also spent 26 years with 3M Company in a variety of global roles, including president of 3M Home Improvement & Consumer Well-being, a $2.6B home improvement business, and as the division president of 3M’s Industrial Abrasives. Additionally, Ms. Sen has public company CEO and non-executive director experience in India, covering corporate governance, tax and audit experience in a $3.0B market capitalization.

She is a passionate advocate for women’s rights, gender and racial equity and poverty alleviation. She has served on the Board of Trustees of the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota, and the Senior Advisory Board of the Global Women’s Network, Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. She holds a BS/BE in Electronics Engineering, as well as an MBA in Marketing & Finance from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
