Faith Mulungi is a seasoned clinical psychologist with 10 years of experience in the development and humanitarian sectors, specializing in mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS). She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) and has applied these approaches across diverse international settings including Uganda, the United States, Bangladesh and Myanmar. Faith has worked extensively with a wide range of vulnerable populations including refugees, post-war victims, survivors of torture, sex workers, people who use drugs and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Currently, she is a consultant psychotherapist & trainer with the Center for Victims of Torture, supporting the Burma/Myanmar Initiative by overseeing psychosocial interventions, providing clinical supervision and advancing trauma-informed care strategies for civil society activists and survivors of atrocity crimes.
