Ilona Fricker is a UK chartered physiotherapist, currently based in Pretoria, South Africa. For the last 17 years, she has been living and working internationally in countries including Uganda, Indonesia, Laos, Jordan and the U.S., training and supporting physiotherapists in diverse settings. She has been working in the field of Trauma rehabilitation since 2009. In her current role as a clinical advisor for physiotherapy for the Center for Victims of Torture, she guides the clinical direction and oversees the quality of physiotherapy services for survivors of torture and war trauma in programs including in Jordan and Iraq.
