Dr. Laura J. S. Soltani
Psychotherapist , U.S. Clinical Operations

Dr. Laura J. S. Soltani is a psychotherapist in CVT’s program in St. Cloud, Minn. Dr. Soltani has more than a decade of experience providing trauma-informed mental health services, direct clinical case management, program coordination and evaluation, and advocacy for forcibly displaced families and survivors of torture and human trafficking. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Work and a Master of Social Work as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Romance Languages and Literatures. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Minnesota. Her community-engaged scholarship critically examines human impacts of immigration, labor and social safety net policies, generating evidence to challenge structural oppression and center human dignity. In addition to English, Laura speaks Spanish and French.
