Recognition for the CVT Ethiopia-Tigray Team

A special staff recognition event was held at CVT Ethiopia, with a visit by Dr. Simon Adams, president & CEO. The CVT Tigray team has worked to provide critical services in the region throughout the conflict period, and all were recognized for their extraordinary efforts. A plaque honoring this work will be placed in the Shire Healing Center. It reads:

“The CVT Tigray staff have demonstrated an exceptional amount of dedication, professionalism and resilience during the period of conflict starting in November of 2020. The strength of this team, the dedication to the healing of those impacted by this conflict, and the character demonstrated during this very challenging time, are inspirational to CVT staff around the globe. This plaque is in recognition of this exceptional service. May CVT Tigray not only be a light for the future of those in need of healing inside Tigray, but also a light for the future of CVT’s work around the globe.”- Presented by CVT Leadership in November 2022

The full team was also asked to nominate a CVT staff member for special recognition for demonstrating exceptional dedication to the wellbeing of their colleagues and the beneficiaries CVT serves in Tigray. These individuals were Bereket Tadesse, CVT Tigray zonal manager, and Aida Hailu, CVT Tigray associate psychotherapist/trainer.
